KIND BUT LOST
In „Kind But Lost,“ IOANA captures the feeling of being sensitive and vulnerable in a loud world — yet still having the desire to truly be present and live. Between clarity and inner chaos, observation and withdrawal, she asks herself questions without expecting easy answers.
Accompanied only by guitar, voice, and a soundscape made from her own field recordings — of water, stones, garden, and found objects — the sound is stripped down, honest, and close. The single was recorded at a remote lake — the location, nature, and solitude are tangible parts of the song.
IOANA has been making solo music since 2021. Alongside her project with producer Audhentik under the name Noir FX, she is also the lead singer of the band Orynge. Raised in an artist family — her mother is an actress and singer — music has been part of her life since childhood. She studied painting, with nature and landscapes shaping her artistic work.
This is a quiet song to dream to — but one that doesn’t take the easy way out. For everyone who quietly doubts, but keeps going.

IOANA's debut EP The Gardens reflects on nature as a place for emotions and memories. Sounds of weather and animals become rhythms, colours transform into melodies, a single voice condenses into a choir of harmonies and sentiments. Singing calmly about love and solitude, with her unique voice arrangements she creates a sound of dreamy landscapes.

NOIR FX is an indie-electronic duo from Berlin, founded in 2024. Ioana, coming from the indie singer-songwriter scene, joins forces with Audenthik. A musician and sound designer, Audenthik feels at home in the world of electronic music. With a wide range of synthesizers and innovative sound design techniques, he creates complex, atmospheric soundscapes. This fusion of handcrafted songwriting and experimental electronic sounds defines our distinctive style.
Audenthik has previously collaborated with artists such as Tua, Die Orsons, and many others from the German indie and hip-hop scenes.

Orynge is an eclectic indie band formed in Berlin in the summer of 2022, blending the diverse musical backgrounds of its members into a unique and vibrant sound. With extensive band and studio experience, each member brings a rich tapestry of influences, ranging from jazz and funk to world music, creating a dynamic and genre-defying style.The genesis of Orynge is as unique as their sound. Vocalist Ioana, who experiences synesthesia—a condition where she perceives music as colors—was struck by the vibrant orange hue she sensed when listening to the band's early tracks. This sensory connection inspired the band’s name, "Orynge," a nod to the color that embodies the warmth, creativity, and energy of their music.In 2023, Orynge retreated to a secluded studio in a quaint village far from the hustle of Berlin to record their first original songs. The tranquility of the surroundings provided the perfect backdrop for the band to fully immerse themselves in the creative process. These songs, entirely written and composed by the band, showcase their ability to seamlessly fuse their varied influences into a cohesive and compelling sound.Orynge's music is not just an auditory experience; it's a journey through color, emotion, and atmosphere.
